Nokia 7700
This will be my next phone, well unless they can do it with a clamshell finish with the same screen size, slimmer, lighter and with a cigarette lighter..... then I won't, but up to now this is mine, the nokia '7700'

It does look pretty damn big! I'd be paranoid about the screen though - I think mobiles should just be something you can shove into your pocket, and not worry about scratching them. It'd have to be kept in a case, which I don't mind for my PDA (I have a nice aluminium hard case), but with a mobile I like to see if I have any messages or missed calls. It's the one thing that puts me of the SE UIQ phones, but this nokia one doesn't even have any flip down buttons, so you'd have to get the stylus out everytime you want to make a quick phonecall, or get fingerprints all over the screen.

Blimey that looks like a really nice phone. Was having a look at the dimensions on Nokia site - its 13cm x 7cm x 2cm. Does'nt seem too bad size wise considering all that it can do. The On screen keyboard sounds like an interesting idea - would be a pain to do text messages with I imagine! Definatly a phone worth looking into when it comes out although knowing my luck Orange will take about another year to get it on their Network!. Is this what would be classed as a 3G phone as it mentions streaming video or is this still classed as a 2.5G phone. My worry would be loosing the little pointer thing that goes with it

Well will it still be worth getting a SE p900 in june, or will they be considered out of date by then or pretty soon after? Anything else worth considering with similar spec?

even this time next year it will be a good phone, it just depends on what you are looking for at the end of the day, this time next year we will be getting 2mega pix + camera phones but the P900 will still be up there with all its features.
if i was you i would get the P900, its an amazing phone with endless features. |

Well I still got a couple of months until its time to upgrade, but it always worth thinking about it a bit early so you can put money aside for it. Any idea how much o2 will charge me to upgrade? Last year when i got my 3650 i said i was thinking of going to another network and they then gave me the phone for free. regards, Carl |

umm sorry mate i have no idea how much they will want for an upgrade, somtimes its better to stop your current contract and then get out a new contract so you get your phone for Free or cheap, may i ask what contract you are on at the moment ??

well it depends, they may ask you to pay over £300 for the P900 so in the end it would be cheaper to get a new contract out
