is that the worst? seems not so bad-methinks it was not winners week really-you were fibbing again.

Alex-barely mentioned in it-there was a bit where her friends were winding him up but pretty inoffensive and tongue in cheek-and Kate did not jump in to stop it-probably a bit bemused herself why they were saying that-or possibly not keen given what happenned on Friday night-probably wanted and expected very soon an apology.

On the saturday bit she correctly predicted the bleach money fiasco and had a dig re oranges but all pretty lighthearted and humourus. She never really had many problems with Alex-he turned wierd on her though.
(was he jealous that Spencer was getting all the press love interest?from davina and dermott as well)

she must have signed loads of autographs that week-she was never running from them-she was running from tabloid pappers -as not too would have have caused problems with OK and E4 etc-a degree of effort is expected.
(as Sophie had with her wedding say or CZJ thingy)

and she told a little girl that 3 million had voted for her as well did she? Do not even get your point there.

I remember it as a great week of snippets.

It bl**dy well was Winners Week, and you know it.

She acted in a condescending, gloating way to the little girl, as indeed she did to everyone the whole week, which is what I found thoroughly objectionable.

Here's some more examples.

Bitching about Jade to camera:

"I don't think Jade's very happy for me"

She expected Jade to be hysterical with glee I suppose!

and Tim

"I made the effort to say hello to Tim and he said "Oh, hello""

He should have fallen on his knees and kissed her feet it seems for deigning to speak to him!

Throwing a prima donna strop and demanding "Get my agent down here now" during her OK interview.

Presumably she thought that everyone loved her so much she could do what she liked.

The only bit of Winner's Week I did enjoy was the way that most of them didn't bother turning up for the book signing when she had hoped to have a further gloat. Good for them I thought.

And only Kate herself, the ghastly Alison and Sunita turned up for the "Thank you HMs" meal that Endemol/C4 put on for them. No doubt that was partly a reflection of what the hms thought of Endemol/C4, but Kate could usefully ask herself whether her gloating presence would also have been a deterrent. I certainly think so.
