I was watching the Tonight Show on FTN last night and Simon Cowell appeared on it, I dont know when this aired in the US.

He was promoting his book and the AI3. He invited Jay Leno to be the judge on the Barry Manilow week. You saw the clip where the contestant throw the water over Simon, but the clip froze before it landed.

He came across very well though.

What is FTN? Is that some sort of UK TV channel?

I didn't catch that episode of The Tonight Show, but all of the judges and previous season finalists are doing a billion talk shows this week. I'm skipping most of them because they keep saying the same things in each appearance.

You should watch The Tonight Show Thursday in the UK because Jennifer Aniston and Clay Aiken will be the guests tonight (Weds.) in the US. Clay will be performing his new single, and who doesn't love Jennifer Aniston?

Jennifer is gorgeous, but I cant relate to that sort of got it all celeb.

Now, if Clay is on, I will have the video set and ready!

Awww, Clay was cracking me up. I totally forget about things like this so I was watching my Apprentice tape and saw the ad for Leno while fast forwarding through commercials. Stop the tape!!! Phew! Now if only my local NBC wasn't just a black screen for the beginning of his song...

Well, if it makes you feel any better, Jennifer hasn't spoken to her mother in years because her mom wrote a tell-all book about their relationship. So, she may be beautiful and have Brad Pitt, but her family life is fractured. Don't you feel better already?

When you ask if there are any Keiths this year, my response would be, "Who isn't a Keith this year?" The auditions have been pretty terrible, and I'm not quite hopeful about the semi-finals yet. Maybe the producers are holding back some of the better contestants for later, but it just doesn't look promising so far. I just have to add that at least I haven't heard anyone that sounds like Michelle so far. I find her voice really annoying, and I don't think I could live through a second season of The Chipmunks singing.

Dont worry about the talent jms. Apart from our PI2 winner, who Simon championed throughout, giving the same speil he did on AI2 "substance over style, talent over looks blah de blah", all the great ones Will, Kelly, Clay sort of creep up on you and you dont notice them at first.
It's got to be better than our second series....hasn't it?

I just saw Jennifer Aniston on a primetime special a week or so ago, and she said they still hadn't made up. Maybe a reconciliation just happened.

Wasn't Clay's drivers license the funniest thing ever? What a difference between that picture and the way he looks now.

It's too soon to tell whether American Idol 3 will be a complete bust until the semi-finals. These auditions are getting on my nerves now because there are too many bad people and not enough good people. I don't know if I can sit through three more episodes of this crap. At least you get it all over with in one night.

I think you guys get CNN in the UK, and there is a show on there called Larry King Live. Our American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, is going to be on the show with Ruben and Clay from AI2 tomorrow night. I don't know if any of it is a repeat from earlier interviews, but you might want to look out for it if you're interested.

I love Larry King Live. He always gets the best guests and they just seem to spill their guts on his show. He doesn't let his guests ramble on too much either. He's good about getting them to move on to the next question.
