It sure does look like a bracelet in those shots, but I think it may be a watch with the face the wrong way round. I only say that cos in the first official shot it looked like the Doc was wearing a gold watch on his left wrist.

Maybe the Doc wears the watch the wrong way round so that he doesn't have to look at 'Time' all the time. As if he actively chooses to wear a watch, but then can't stand looking at it. It'd be a nice way of summing up the conflict within and would be a nice concept if that was the intention.

EDIT - Although with the amount of running involved in Who, maybe it just slipped round and I'm overthinking things.

I had zoomed in on that first pic when someone mentioned he had a watch and it looks the same as the pics above - reminded me of an arthritis bracelet... Looked like it had links so could be a watch facing inwards, could be a bracelet...

I mentioned this yesterday but after looking at more pics I'm pretty certain it's a watch with the face on the inside of his wrist.

There's one pic you can just about see the watch face.

Isn't that the way Doctors wear their watches anyway to prevent them getting snagged on anything during phsyical examinations with patients?

I think I remember being told about this the one time I was in hospital but I was in and out on morphine so I can't remember everything that was said!

Still, something else a bit "Doctor-ish" about him...

why does he need a watch...wouldnt the sonic screwdriver have one built in?

Also does it reset to each planet/time zone or just at GMT as he is on earth most of the time?
