PJ's new business
Nicki_r_p
21-01-2004
PJ has sent me some stuff through the post about his new business venture, and he's asked if I could post about it on some Big Brother sites, so here's some details.

"Angel promotions would like to invite you and your colleagues to take part in the new craze that is SPEED DATING.

Speed dating is the fresh and innovative way to date and offers single people the opportunity to meet up with 30 other singles in a controlled, friendly, and enjoyable atmosphere.

We are taking Speed Dating to many major cities throughout the UK and launching the Birmingham night at the trendy and upmarket Kaijo Lounge on January 28th 2004. The night will then be continued every 2 weeks on a Wednesday.

The night costs £20 per person. If, however, you decide to attend the Birmingham launch night, you will also be entitled to a 25% discount. Alternatively, if a group of colleagues or friends are also interested in attending, for every 5 people booked, an extra person can come along absolutely free of charge.

If you feel that you and your colleagues would be interested in such a new experience, or indeed require further information, please visit www.angelpromotions.biz . Alternatively, feel free to contact me personally on the numbers listed below.

We look forward to seeing you at our forthcoming events, and advise any interested persons to book early to avoid disappointment.

Kind regards,

PJ

Nicki,

a question, why did he send them to you? Do you know him then?

I interviewed him last year for a Big Brother site. We've been in contact since via email / phone.

Whatever people think of him, he is a genuinely nice guy....

All Kate fans know that, do they??? Why? Are you a political party with everyone sharing the same views? Or are you the Borg?

Nice bit of cheap advertising for PJ's business.

I was rather sad when I read about what PJ is doing now, Nicki. When he appeared on the show I always felt that he was an intelligent man, and had he not have been stitched up, would have made the finals. I did hope that after the prog was over, he might just realise that he could earn a very comfortable living if he finished his exams. What he is doing now may bring in some short term profit, but its a bit tacky, isn't it? It rather suggests that he is trying to cling to his fifteen minutes of fame, rather than building a secure future. I hope that's not the case. You wrote that you had been in contact with him, and that he was a nice guy. I'm pleased about that as I felt that all of the contestants in that BB were manipulated and we never got to see their good sides. Good luck to him, anyway.
