The film with Karen sounds interesting, although fantasy horror (anything with the word horror has me running for cover).

Yeah some soft regional accents can sound lovely. A Doctor with a regional accent would be nice again *thinks Gabriel Byrne's or Liam Neeson's soft Irish accent* *swoon*

I'm the same with Horror, can't watch it, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince made me jump the other night, and I've seen that before!

I do hope Karen gets to do more roles because of this, I think it would be a shame if she wasn't at least given the chance.

I would be very surprised if it didn't lead to more roles for Karen. Billie seems to have done well (although she already had filmed Bella and the boys, hadn't she, which was quite good). Freema is definitely doing well. Donna was doing well with comedy, but I certainly think that her stint in Dr Who should get her noticed for more serious roles).
