Tonight turned on TV and HDR (HDMI connection).
This time blank screen except for the program info block at bottom of screen... no other picture or sound.
All tricks failed and I had to switch off at mains.

That seems a very odd one. I hope some spark can think why that glitch occurred.

Its been discused elswhere I think.Also in" Have Humax abandoned the foxsat PVR" above, last page.

But methinks not my variation. AFAICS in all cases cited the screen has been completely, blank, whereas mine did have something showing namely the programme info,as illustrated on page 28 of handbook. Surely that points to something coming through the HDMI connection to the TV, and not just a handshake problem. Anyhow the handshake problem, for me at least, has been switching on from active standby. For that I have a solution that works for me,a dn what I have OPd on here is not the same.
