I know the kind of sealing tape that is used for sealing F Connectors but I can't find a supplier here in Belgium

Can anyone let me have a specification or part number to help my search

Some people use just silicone grease. method below,
http://satcure.com/tech/fconn.htm

It actually helps fitting the F-plug which can be difficult if you have the right size F-plug for your chosen cable.
Check-out,

Others use just self amalgamating tape, method below,

I use just silicone grease for a few nights stop with a caravan, but for home long term I use both, very cautious!
I apply the grease as above, then with absorbent kitchen paper carefully clean it off the exterior, followed by amalgamating tape. The tape will not stick to the grease!

Both are obtainable at Satcure, by mail-order, but I live in France & found both in Monsieur Bricolage. Does that chain exist in Belgium?

AS others have said silicone grease, I then use waterproof boots (neater than self amalgamating tape).

(I use Blu-Tack for temporary joints.)

I bought some fantastic self amalgamating silicon tape at IBC last year, it was much nicer to use than the traditional rubber stuff and very resistant.

Are those the thigh-high models GT ??? My boots (which weren't made for walking) disintegrated after a few months due to UV! I use Nitto Self-fusing Butyl Rubber Tape No.15 - widely available here - but since you are in Belgium have a look at http://www.flandersdigital.be for "Vulcaniserende tape SCAPA 25mm X 4,5m" which should do the job. Otherwise check out http://www.satshopper.nl - they list lots of Belgian satellite (accessories) suppliers.

Thanks for all the links and leads.

I have made an initial contact with 3m In Brussels and will follow through with them next week.

Or if you haven't already fitted your set up, you could go for professional water tight plugs that don't need tape:
