Ruben has the #20 song in America

And after only 5 weeks. Good for him! Clay's single peaked at 37. Ruben is steadily moving up the charts.

Ruben stats:

#20 song
#8 CD (still holding strong)
#1 R&B CD

I saw his new video today, and I really like it. I'm glad MTV is premiering it at the same time that Clay's video is retiring. The competition between the fans just detracts from the good things the two of them are doing.

They've both accomplished so much, with Ruben getting a Grammy nomination and selling over 1 million albums so far and Clay having the best-selling single of 2003 and selling over 2 million albums so far. Do you know how hard it is to accomplish these things? I don't know if we'll find another Kelly, Ruben or Clay in the new season of American Idol. It doesn't look promising so far, unless they're holding back a secret weapon for later.

What is the name of his single? I haven't heard it on the radio or seen the video.
