..the yank one on itv2 - all the auditions. you really have to worry about some of these people.

someone was just twirling whilst singing. as tho' it was Circus Idol, which it isn't.

these shows are about the best tv ever...

Wrong thread - there is an American Idol/Pop idol section of its own!

well they missed a treat. you really have to worry about a lot of these people. fair enough people giving it a go, even tho' they really haven't a chance in hell, but the way some of them were so blind to how crap they were, and how angry and resentful they were to the judges was, literally, unbelievable.

Iain

PS oops - forgot about the other forum, i guess i was just prompted to post in a more general *christ, is anyone else watching this absolute nonsense?* sense.

I watched a little bit here and there, and I thought it was terribly boring. They have obviously decided that nobody cares about the good auditions anymore, as 90% of the contestants we saw were clearly just taking the pi$$, even though they pretended to be upset when faced with Simon's increasingly repetitive and uninspired put-downs. It's time to pack your bags when you start using "Houston we have a problem"-jokes... in Houston. <sigh>

The stunt where where the girl was sent to the mall to sing, was just that... a stunt. And a stupid one at that. There was a similar one with a girl in a bar, or something like that, who supposedly caused the customers to leave. I have seen wrestling matches that were less staged than that.

I can't stand that Ryan Seamonkey, or whatever his name is.

Yes Iain - we were all posting away in the American Idol forum whislt you were here alone. It was very enjoyable - hysterically funny but also quite sad in parts.

Looking forward to next week - hope to see you over in the other forum Iain

American Idol was very very funny last night !!!

The bit with the girl who would stop singing and the thunder and lightning was going off ..... priceless !!! Especially when Simon was saying "I'm getting scared now ... leave" and she just kept singing.... brilliant !!!!
