I am having problems with 4oD, no problems with BBC iPlayer, ITV Player or Demand Five.
Every time I try and watch a programme on 4oD, I get the following messege:
'An error has occured trying to play the chosen item'.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and do you know how to rectify this?

Which version of Flash have you got installed?

http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ will tell you.

Does it load in another browser? ie... try Firefox if you use IE etc...

Who's your provider? Could be an error on their part.

Are you trying to access it via a proxy? (Just wondered because of your user name).

I'm using Windows Vista Premium and Flash version 10,0,22,87.
Yes I am overseas, using a VPN, I have no problems using Zatoo, BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, and Demand Five.
This is the only service I have problems with, not sure if it is Geo bloked more than the others, no big lose, though it could be fun to get it to work.
Well, at least I can watch Channel 4 on Zatoo!

When I try and view 4oD with my own local ip address, I just get the following messege:
This service is not currently available in your area. Click here to access our help section. (of course I'm outside the UK)
I don't get the same messege as when using the VPN
'An error has occured trying to play the chosen item'.
Anyone in the UK getting the error messege?

What exactly changed when 4OD released their new player?
It's obviously not using HTTP to connect to their webserver anymore...must be something else?

Through my VPN I have quite a few connection choices, some are listed with P, such as P4566, some are listed as IS-04550. If I use the ones with P I could never connect to 4oD. After using the IS- ones, I had no problems.
