Motorola V500

I bought a Motorola V500 from Orange as an upgrade. they didn't tell me that (unlike my V66) the software & cable to link to my PC and download photos would be another £39 - nearly what I paid for the phone! What's the point of a camera phone if I can't download the pix!

Anyone got a copy or know a cheaper source?

Haven't you got an IRDA port on your PC/laptop? I just bought a USB one for £15 (a bit more expensive but it came with CDs full of wallpaper, themes, games and programs for my Z600) and all I need to do is download the Sony Ericsson software which is FREE from their website.

Those guys who are trying to sell you the cable and software for £39 are RIPPING YOU OFF.

I've got a V500 on Orange. I use a BT dongle to connect to my laptop. Dead easy and can pick them up for twenty quid.

Worth the money. I personally think this is a superb phone and well worth having....particulary as its hard to get hold of!

And Jediknight....you cant download the software for free from Motorola. You do have to pay for it. There aint no where you can get a legit copy for free.
