Anyone agree with me here?

She had three or four top ten singles and I think her album was number one but after her cancer battle she has disappeared from our charts.

Such a shame as she has had three absolutely stunning albums

I love Delta..My fave album by her is Innocent Eyes..I can listen to it non stop..Her last album Delta wasnt released her but it was great too, Her single In This Life would have done great in the UK but i don't see her music being released her anytime soon..It's such a shame because she's great..

Amazing voice, beautiful girl. I think the soap star tag may have soiled her to be honest as I don't really know of anyone that rates her. Nice to see her get a mention.

Agree about her voice, looks and the soap star tag. She's a very talented lady that's for sure and should have done much better in the UK. IMO same applies to another Aussie singer.....Natalie Bassingthwaighte

I love Delta, she has some great tracks. My favourites are Innocent Eyes & Out Of The Blue.

She only released these in the UK shame she didn't bring the third album here

I loved Innocent Eyes.

Out of the Blue was good but I connected to Innocent Eyes on a much more personal level.

I kind of lost interest after that when she just dropped off the radar in the UK. I just sort of forgot about her and when I did try a little of her newer material it failed to hook me like before.

I wish she'd been a bigger success here. She deserved to be.

did get most of her 3rd album by a friend sending the songs through email but believe again i think is a "epic song" in a way its quite dramtic. love "in this life" one of my fav songs of all time.

Delta is one of the most underrated artists ever!
I had both of her UK albums..the songs are amazing..beautiful lyrics..such a talented artist writing music and playing the piano etc.. I'd say she was better than Alicia Keys
Love her..wish she would come and release in the UK again!

I liked that song which went "da da da da da da". Not sure which one it was... Innocent Eyes?

I'm not a fan, but she was better than quite a lot of this current trend of middle-of-the-road female singer/songwriters.

Not me, Not I?

I love Delta's songs, I listen to alot of the less known ones, such as "Breathe in,breathe out" , "Take me Home", "Right here in my heart" especially.

And "Be strong" is a personal fave of mine.

I think she's fantastic. In This Life would of done well here shame it wasn't released. My favourite song of hers has to be Lost Without You, I think it's so beautiful.

To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact she was in Neighbours, I doubt if her songs would've done well in the charts.

The reason why Born To Try made No.3 was on the back of it being promoted in Neighbours. Her next 2 singles did well again because of the fact she was still in the soap. When she left Neighbours, she lost most of that fanbase and she struggled after that.

If Delta was a fantastic singer/songwriter as people have said, why didn't she do the hard graft like Jewel, Thea Gilmore, Laura Marling etc instead of taking the easy way to success like flogging her tunes on an Australian soap?

She was pretty good, had a great voice and did she write all her own songs?

I'm sure Delta did write her own songs, but so do Laura Marling,Ellie Goulding and Amy McDonald, and they didn't have the exposure of a soap opera like she did.

You were right first time round, it's "da da da da da da".

It was an opportunity - it shouldn't take anything away from her talent.
