Well there's no where else in Emmerdale for him to work really is there? i can't see him serving tea in Viv's shop, or making plaster gnomes in Pollard's place. Mechanics are hardly ever actually qualified in soaps, unless they are new characters, in which case the script writers have had time to invent a profession for them.

I think Katie will have to decide too if material possessions mean much to her. Andy has his own farm house (and very nice it is too) and all that land.

Robert Sudgen is one of the WORST characters in Emmerdale. How he managed to get four women into bed I'll never understand it. He is not exactly easy on the eyes and Karl Davies' acting is very one dimensional

Well he wouldn't have to try very hard to get me into bed, I would gladly. He is one of the best looking actors and characters in Emmerdale in my opinion, so it is no wonder he can get his pick of the girls.

Robert is about the most unnconvincing "sex God" I've seen in my entire life, I'd rather go to bed with a filthy old towel someone's just pulled out of the sewer or something. His acting leaves a lot to be desired, compared to the other two who have done some great performances in the past, he's unattractive; a vile, irritating personality to go with it and completely cringeworthy to watch. Just crap in every sense and totally unbelievable. He's only second to the dire Spencer in Eastenders on teen soap characters that ought to go. Oh, and that stupid hair that's almost grown into a mullet - what's that all about? Get rid of it, it only makes matters worse.

As for the storyline - she does marry Andy, doesn't she? After all, that article about them getting VD, says it happens NEXT month and "Katie may be forced into telling groom Andy about her affair with Robert".
So is that rubbish or does the wedding run smoothly and we have to put up with yet another month of this nonsense?

If she does still get married to Andy she must be mad, it is clear she want's Rob, even if she is trying to hide her feelings at the moment. I hope Andy does or says something to upset Robert, then Robert can get the ultimate revenge by telling his bro that his bride to be prefers him.

Whether we, or indeed she, like(s) it or not Katie WILL marry Andy. She WILL also infect him with a STD that she has, very kindly, had passed on to her from he whom she considers to be, I think, the love of her young life.

This will surely end one relationship and it is unlikely that a trusting relationship, with Robert, will ensue if, that is, Robert heeds his own advice passed on to his older sibling in last night’s episode re 18 being too young to settle down. Some do you know.

I also think (hope) that Robert says something to Andy (I don't consider his part is cast to be anything other that a braggart) but I also don't want the moment spoiled for when Katie is forced to tell Andy that she has cheated on him.

I am waiting for when Andy tells the blonde beauty to sling her hook, to see what Roberts response will be, after what he said to his brother and where she will turn when she finds she is both with child and a STD.
