I just got a warehouse confirmation for my order placed using my Yahoo email.

Think they need to sort out their mail services

Just in case you want to know, these 99p SIM cards DO NOT require a top up to be activated. That means you can put it into your phone and receive calls straight away.

Do you get free GPRS on them (I got a O2 Sim the other week and haven't topped it up yet but still getting free GPRS - Can even download £2.50 Wallpapers from O2 active with no credit )

I think you have to text O2 or something, Not sure myself yet but I don't think they are automatically activated.

When i got my o2 sim, all i had to do was top up with my £10 and my 300 free msgs started about 12 - 18 hours after top up. I didnt get a msg from o2 to say that my free msgs had started. I just noticed that i hadnt been charged, so remember your balance and check it after you send a msg.

I got mine this morning, ordered couple of days ago. I haven't put any credit in it yet, but I called the new mobile number and it comes through to my phone. Oh, well, I got a good new number for free - ends in 565 7777 - really easy to remember!

Usually every few months, but you have to keep checking as they will only be made 'free' for one day.

Managed to get a couple back in December and since then my wife and I have never had to pay for an MMS, SMS or even GPRS. Its great. I have topped up every month with my £10 and my current balance is something like £40 plus, as i never call my wife we just text.

Interesting - put one of the SIMs in my Nokia and it sent me 3 txts with my o2 online username and password!

If I change my password will it show the old password on every other card?

Does that normally happen as i am planning to sell some and i don't want people knowing my personal information. does it mean that the sim cards are registered to my address.

When you top up by £10 for the first time, O2 say it will take up to 48 hours for the free texts and WAP to kick in but my experience tells me it's rarely more than 18 to 24 hours.

Yes, although you're supposed to be in credit to use your free texts and WAP! That's one that O2 got away from! The new O2 Online PAYG sims now include 1MB of GPRS data a month instead of 300 CSD minutes like the old ones. Older users who still have the 300 free minutes can switch to GPRS access if they want by calling 2425 but if they do, they cannot go back to CSD at a later date.

Does it work if you've ordered free SIMs in promotions before?

Priced at £0.00 get them why you can!

Beware though, they're address checking this time so if possible try and arrange them to be sent to a friend/family members house if you have already ordered some of these before!
I ordered 4 of them on Monday.

Can't wait to receive them...
