Favourite Songs
What's everyone's favourite song? My personal favourite is 'another one bites the dust' by Queen.

classics from yonder student days :
joy division - *atmosphere* the smiths - *frankly mr shankly* & *cemetery gates* the cure - *push* u2 - *who's gonna ride your wild horses* soft cell - *tainted love* rem - *losing my religion* & *its the of the world as we know it* they were great days indeed, dancing the night away at Strathclyde Uni Union.... Iain PS i used to know a couple of people who were great at these sorts of lists, but we kind of lost touch unfortunately.

Champagne Supernova - Oasis
Sweet child of mine by Guns N Roses also has a special place in my heart as since the age of 2 months, when my son heard it he would immediately stop crying and smile. It got played a lot

My dirty little secret is that, I am a big Kiss fan... One of their best songs ,in my opinion, was 'Beth' from their 1976 album Destroyer. The live version on 'Alive II' is superb.

I'm a bit of a Pink Floyd fan and there's a track on Dark side, I can't remeber the title but the lyrics are "The lunatics have taken over the asylum" Next to comfortably numb it's the best track of all time.

Being an ageing yet cultured Brit I would have to go for long songs, the longer the better.....
Supper's Ready - Genesis Southern Man - CSNY (live) High Tides & Green Grass - The Outlaws (live) Hurricane - Neil Young 2112 - Rush Space Truckin' - Deep Purple (live) Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands - Bob Dylan Anyfing under 10 minutes ain't really a song, just an excerpt.
