Hi, i'm in desperate need of help here.

Here's the short story, 2 weeks ago I asked BT to move my line from my old address to my new one, I PLEADED with them not to screw it up as they had done in the past!

...but they did. On the day of moving I tested the line, nothing but dead noise.

I phoned bt and asked why I had no line, they said it had been cancelled(!) and they needed to refer it to an offline team.

In anger I posted my hated of bt on Twitter, they picked this up and a twitter based helpline tried to sort it out, they have said that a line will be sorted for me on the 11th august!!!!

I asked to make a formal complaint and they said there Is no complaints team but they can log my feedback!??

I have spent 4 hours on the phone and. On hold, various tweets and I'm going to lose my mind, all I want is my Internet!! But with 11 day wait then the 9 days for sky to set it up their end. It just looks like it's gonna take forever.

does anyone have ANY ideas what I could do?

Thanks in advance.

Some people I know would be looking for a nearby unsecured router by now!

This is the best place for a complaint. Write to: Sir Michael Rake, Chairman, British Telecommunications plc, 81 Newgate Street, London EC1A 7AJ. Works every time.
