On the TUTV forum (and website) it says their deal with ESPN is done and offers a chance to get the first month free..... implying a monthly charge which another poster thinks will be £9.99.

if this is the same for BT (TUTV link directly to BT from their own page) then..who's buying?

i assume that this will continue to be included with the gold pack? i hope there isn't a price increase because of this. just a thought if bt get sky sports will they offer a sports pack to include both as espn would surely be inferiour in content to sky sports

Setanta was free with any value pack, not just gold.

Sky on BTV is years away..if at all.

ESPN content/value would depend on what else it shows alongside the EPL.

Why don't you wait until the price and terms are know instead of indulging in your usual fantasies and unfounded speculation.

The TUTV price was not the price we got Setanta for with a value pack anyway

People can make up their own minds in a few days hopefully once the official announcement is made.

Setanta was not the only reason I choose Vision for and I suspect that may be for others as not everyone is a sports fan.

unfounded speculation like the BT balance sheet?

if you re-read the original post I was just asking the question about who thinks 9.99 would be a good idea to price ESPN at on BTV? No more, no less.

I know nothing has been announced, it was just a question you didn't answer....

If BT phoned you and said ESPN is 9.99 a month what would you say?

TUTV was actually cheaper for Setanta than Vision as it didn't need a subscription to anything else. Just the connection fee.

why you and other people chose Vision overall is nice to know but it's not anywhere near the question I was asking....

In any case, I was responding to Samsung, he was missing the point again.

No I wasn't missing the point as I stated instead of speculating on the price and asking for an opinion why don't you wait until we know what it is and then you can comment on it rather than put a pointless discussion point based on something you pluck out the air.
