This is the last Appreciation Thread I'll make of them, even before they've appeared on TV but ..



She used to be in S Club 8/Juniors. Rochelle and Frankie from the group are now in The Saturdays.

I adored her in S club 8 and thought out of the girls she actually had the best voice. Can not believe she has had to resort to this show to get noticed . Such a shame when she is so talented.


Oh and im a girl so dont fancy her just think she has a lot of talent. Sometimes people on this forum seem to think you can only prise people you fancy lol.

You make it sound like it's shameful auditioning for The X Factor

It's a far easier way to get into the music industry than the conventional way. Many music producers probably think she is not that credible after being in S Club 8.

I think both Leona and Alexandra have given the x-factor credibility as a way into the music business. You don't get an American deal if you are rubbish. And from what snippets we are hearing from the auditions etc it looks like we could be in for the best year yet in terms of talent.

Well Rochelle and Frankie made it and yet Frankie does not have a great voice . I just dont think going on the X Factor unless you are top 3 is going to help you long term. I think we have seen how many winners actually dont even make it long term. The only real winners have been Lenoa and Alex ( has to prove herself still) and maybe Will Young.

Rochelle and Frankie had to audition to get into The Saturdays. Obviosly Stacey wanted to carve out a solo career instead

Ruth Lorenzo is working with people from Aerosmith and Guns n Roses but she wasn't top 3

Speaking about long-term careers on The X Factor (not Pop Idol), three of the five winners seem to have became really successful - is it just coincidence that they are the ones with huge talent; Shayne was a tenor and very marketable, Leona is you probably know and same with Alex.

So then she isn't a real winner.

I didn't like her and the blonde one but then again I didn't like Frankie and Rochelle in their S Club 8 days. Now the two girls are my favourites in the band but Una is still the better one.
I hope Stacey does well and will reserve judgement until I see her. What song did she do at her audition and bootcamp?

Stacey did "Hurt" last night at Bootcamp, was one of the better ones there. She's had a bit of a makeover. Excellent singer, everybody loved her including the judges. I would expect her to be final 12.

I really hope she makes it through.

She's competing against the girls of her age though.

I hope she is. I've seen clips of her singing on MySpace, she sounds amazing. And I adored the junior s clubs.

I hope she makes the final 12 too. The thing i don't get is, she doesn't look mixed-race which she apparently is. She looked it in S Club 8 but she looks whiter

There has been lots of reviews for her now. A lot of people said she stood out and should be in the final 12.

This is starting on August 22nd. Can't wait to see her on TV. I hope she's on one of the earlier ones.

As she is now, she looks very white. light brown hair with very pale complexion.

I saw her audition at bootcamp on Saturday, thought she was good.

I thought she was the female star of S Club 8. Calvin was the best male singer but Stacey was definately the best girl. I hope she does well.

Auditions tomorrow. Can't wait to see them. Especially Stacey 's !
