On older sony TVs, it always was....
Turn the TV into standby. Press "i" press "5" press "volume up" press the screen on button - looks like an empty screen then going into the menu would put you into the service menu. Make a note of any settings you change before you do change them, and i'm not responsible if you mess it up, which is more than possible ![]() Mark |

Yes, as mentioned.. BE CAREFUL!
if you get into the service mode as mentioned, firstly... do not enter any numbers ......... most Sony TVs can turn on or off features like fastext, stereo and tons of other settings simply by entering a two digit number. So its easy to enter the service mode, try and change TV channels and instead balls up the TV.. if you don't know what 2 digit number you pressed and you dont have a manual, you might easily lose some features! A very useful site is this: www.kv32tweak.freeuk.com although you have a projection TV, it might still be of use. |
