Do you think they'll have the intro show the week before it starts like the last two years?
The series 5 one was quite good because they showed quite a bit from all the first four series but last year's was mainly about series 5. I think we could all do without an hour long show of highlights from series 6

I could be wrong, but I think there are two shows the first weekend. I don't think we know much more than that at the moment.

My hope is that the female celebs will dance one night and the male celebs the next night with the elimination(s) taking place only on the second show.

It could work well that way if the same amount of voting time is allowed for each night.

I think that would be an improvement. I didn't really like the separate elimination rounds for the men and women last year. It didn't feel like the show had really started until they all came together.

Something like this has worked on DWTS in previous years so it should work for SCD too and it would also be a big improvement on the seperate weeks. 4 weeks seemed like a lifetime until we finally saw them all together...

Well I am sure it is hype as there has been a great deal of bad press about SCD over the last few weeks. What with the Alesha and Arlene "problem" and the rumour about two prominent celebs leaving the show due to a reduction in fees. Why cannot they get rid of Bruce and his obscene salary and employ a younger presenter (Perhaps Tess's husband????) and save money rather than economise by reducing the fee offerred to celebs who work each and every week like mad people to try and learn the dance routines.

Why not?! I think that would actually be quite good. Now who can they pair Mel C with next year?

Talking of Phillip it wouldn't surprise me if Fern Britton showed up, has she been linked at all?
