Wnat is it with the Slaters. They spend all day moaning that they have no money and when they get some they spend all night in the Vic spending what they have been given. Of course, during the drinking session they keep moaning that they need more money. I am confused or is this real life ?

I noticed that. Alfie gives Charlie £50 and they're saying they need all the money they can get, yet spend it on another round of drinks? Idiots!

was moaning about this myself last night actually.

but then i dont like the family at all. charlies bad acting and constant 'ive got to protect my gurls' makes me want to hurl the tv out the window. theyre constant 'woe is us' 'us against the world' 'we must be annoying at all costs' attitude is really getting on my nerves. and it feels as if they revolve the whole show around them now

I know the feeling! They think they're the most hard-done-by family in the square!

And yes, Charlie's acting is pretty awful!

Yes I have to agree, I saw that bit as I was getting ready to go out. I thought EE was quite good last nite, loads of drama. Yeh how stupid are the writers eh? "Oh we need money" Alfie hands them 50 quid and Mo goes to the bar with it? hello? soemthing not quite rite with that picture lol

The Slaters are starting to grate on me a bit now. They were good when they first arrived but now they're irritating. It's the lousy writers that are ruining them. But also have to agree, Charlie can't act to save his life. He should have an Arthur stylie death an just be done with it, he cries more than his daughters put together!

1. At least two of the slaters must cry each week!

2. Charlie must act like a ****** to disguise the fact that he is so ugly!

3. Little mo must play the victim at every opertunity and say this line: "all my life people have been tell'in me what to do, and i'm sick of it"

4. Big mo must represent the working classes by constantly shouting and doing dodgy deals with knocked of gear!

Yup....i hate them too, but not as much as i hate the ferrias

Could that be "This family's falling apart" which Charlie says whenever the slightest thing happens to one of them?

lol Lynn leaves the square, Charlies reaction: this family is falling apart!

Eh?? How come my post and Drakaina's posts have been quoted?? All I did was try to edit a spelling mistake, and it just quoted it. Obviously a board problem, as Drakaina appears to have done the same thing!

Hmm... Not the one I was thinking of, goes to show how many set phrases there are though! - I can definately remember that being said on several occasions.

The one I was thikning about was something about the importance of family I think, I can tell when it is coming now

Lynne's my particular favourite. I'd like to slap her face - except she looks like somebody already has.

How about "We're FAMILY! That counts for something."

Just what I was thinking. Not that he anything else to do so he could have set off earlier and got a bus.
Presumably he got a taxi back then went straight to the pub to buy him and Alfie a pint.
Skint my arse
