Pay increase for Strictly pros?

If the report in the Sun is true, and the pros are getting an extra £4000+ for this series then I'm glad. If anybody deserved a pay raise it was the pros. Glad to see they appear to have been left out of the round of cost-cutting going on on the show.

Yep! It's great they're getting something more for their efforts

I think that only leaves Tess and the judges on an unknown wage this year...I wonder when we'll hear about that?

Isn't the pay increase actually because they will be doing more shows though?

I mean I'm glad they're not getting a cut, but this isn't a raise recognising how hard they work, it's payment for having to work even harder!

yes i know that!

its shocking that the presenters get more money for working with a script

the professional deserve more with all the hours they put in, especially the way the professional are treated second to the celeb's

I guess it depends on the nature of the extra shows, which we don't know yet. Whatever the nature of them, £4000+ for two more shows is at worst a very good deal for those two shows, if nothing else!

I agree.

I'm just glad they didn't cut their pay.

I think they should be paid per inch, so Ian is due a HUGE pay rise...
