Under the poll's definition of a "Strictly viewer", I am an "Eastenders Viewer" in that I have seen it a few times. Maybe they could use me in a poll to indicate my outrage at the "Gay Muslim" storyline given as how I never intend to tune in again to that.
Amongst regular viewers, the % indicating they weren't going to tune in this year was 10%. Which is tiny, considering this poll was taken at the height of the scandal, and people classically over-estimate their ability to break out of traditional patterns of behaviour. I'm sure we're all familiar on messageboards with annoying people who cry "I'M NEVER WATCHING AGAIN!" when their favourite gets eliminated, only to return next week more full of piss and vinegar than ever.
This is almost certainly the same thing. Ratings will be broadly the same as last year.
