My dad just got it, and he says it is pretty good. It does about the average you would expect of a phone now, nothing flashy.

I think he got it for £59.99 from Dixons? He got a free digital camera as well (Which I now have!)

Actually, it may well have been Argos. He got it cheaply though. I have a Samsung T100 ex contract for sale, once I have a new antenna fitted.

Bit of a shot in the dark here but has anyone had success connecting this handset to a PC? Neither the Siemens or the Orange website allow you to download PC connectivity software specifically for this handset, but I've seen a few websites that said the C60 software will work.

So I took a gamble and bought a serial cable of E-bay for a fiver. However it doesn't work! Just refuses to connect. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Interestingly the cable I bought wasn't a genuine Siemens one, dunno if that would make a difference though, as long as they got the connections right it shouldn't matter. Or should it?!

Hi,
I think it would matter if it was a Orignal Siemens, but then again, it might not. Do you have the software that allows you to connect the C60 to your computer, and is set-up correctly? Try phoning up Orange free of charge on 450 and see what they suggest. They should help. Just dont press and buttons till it says they will connect you to a customer service advisor!

Yeah I've got the C60 software, and I think it's set up correctly. Having said that there appears to be no options or anything; it just creates a "Mobile" icon in Explorer, and when I click on that it pauses for a while and says "There is no connection. Reconnect to the mobile telephone and try again".

I'll try Orange, but I'm on pay as you go and I think 450 might cost me!

No, 450 is the free-phone in order to top-up your phone, but the customer services help quite abit on anything!

Oh right, cheers for that. I'll give it a go whilst I'm walking to the pub later.
