Technical question.
Lets get it clear from the start this is a bona fide question and not a Sky v BT vision thread that seems so sensitive in this section.
Looking at the Bt Vision website recently and looking at their product, it occured to me that it does not seem to mention the viability or option of having a multiroom box. So can you have a separate multiroom service with BT vision or is it not possible. Im not suggesting running multiple feeds from the RF out or using a video sender I mean a separate 2nd multiroom box offering full BT Vision mirrored service. |

A cheap way of getting multiroom ? - again who knows. It also faces capacity issues as you'd be using double the bandwidth if both boxes were viewing VOD although one could lock the other out in this scenario for those with limited bandwidth. Guesswork really. |

This is what BT Vision Support said on the BT forum at the end of May: Quote:
Remote record is on the 'wish list' as an option from the Mediaroom platform that we'd like to bring to Vision, as are things like multiroom support, fully streaming channels etc. Which make it from wish list to development and then into service is a pretty closely held secret as we try to avoid setting expectations and then not delivering. I'll keep everyone as up to date as I can but the information I have is only slightly ahead of that provided to the public.
