OMG - the show hasn't even started and we're already knee-deep in 'previous dance experience' ...

ALL trained actors and many presenters have dance experience. And the same goes for many singers who've been to stage school. Kara isn't that different from most other actors and quotes like this will come from the details her agent sends out to try and get her work. It means she would be able to pick up (for example) a dancing scene in something like Pride And Prejudice. It doesn't mean she can do a flawless cha cha cha at the drop of a hat.
She won't have had more than a couple of weeks' training for the Sports Relief show - which will be similar to what she will have had at stage school.
So really not that big a deal for her to participate - although I can already see the threads from 'outraged' posters who want to find excuses to not like her ...:sleep:
Who would they prefer? Sharon Osborne?
