Over the past year I have heard the many issues with Internet Explorer. What a shame as it was my first browser and it use to be great. Google Chrome it is then seeing as the future of IE is finishing or being replaced.

Thanks so much Scot, that thread looks very useful. Half lurking still though,

Oh student apartments and all the nice places are student party scenes?

I just read in The Sun paper that Blackpool now has the lowest mortality rate for baby boys (75) and that the motorway, exclusive abroad deals and lack of sunshine has ruined the place.

The locals were presented as beer drinking louts with no job oppurtunity.”

We've got 1000 students each side of us, and another 1000 one street over. And they want to put 800 more in the same street. Noisiest time is Saturday evening which is a pain as we get up reasonably early on Sunday.

Blackpool definitely is not what is used to be, and I wouldn't move back into Blackpool itself. A lot of the jobs are seasonal which doesn't help

I use FireFox (& have done so for many years), I've never had any issues with it, & also use Mozilla Thunderbird for mail. I wouldn't use anything else actually. I obviously use Hotmail for rubbishy emails.

I originally joined because of Big Brother, did a googlesearch for all things BB, & DS was the 1st site I came across - the rest is history.

Are you to find another residence to move into or if you own your house that maybe harder. Rent it or sell it? Or of course bear it and grin it.
Local politician representatives or the council or the police or media approach. A petition?

What a shame when your home town changes that it's no longer relateable.

However I am glad you joined DS, you seem cool.

I may try that! Full of useful information as always! I like this thread, it's a great why to ease new users in. I have ventured into the Fashion section. A little slow, just how I like it for now

Oh wow I am watching Celebrity Big Brother, the one that Julian Clary won. Great series!
I have watched all the CBB's up to the one I just mentioned. All the spin offs like Teen Experiment and Hijack.
Plus Big Brother 1.
My best one is the BB that stared Nikki, Pete, Glen, Richard, Grace, Ash and Leah... it was perfect viewing for me.

What are yours, wish I was here when Davina McCall was presenter. I liked Brian Dowling and have never seen Emma yet.

I enjoyed the CBB which Julian Cleary won, he's brilliant.

Didn't like BB7, it all started to go downhill from BB6 onward, now it's on CH5 it's become another Towie. It's like the HM's are reading from a script! Far too much manipulation from the producers & far too much information from the outside world.

BB3 & BB5 were my favourites.

Couldn't stand Davina McCall she became a parody of herself before she finished, all that gurning etc., she should have remained neutral, but of course didn't. It got to the stage when you knew she was no longer watching BB herself, & was just given information before she went on to present it.
Emma is a Davina clone!
I think Brian was treated really badly by CH5, he wasn't given a chance & always works better when he ad libs, as opposed to reading a script.

I've watched them all too, however there's been a few I've deliberately missed since it moved to CH5. They need to stop head-hunting HM's & then ending up with wanabees, vacuous models etc., & people who have previous media exposure. Get it back to basics!

We've been on the housing register for 7 years but we need wheelchair friendly accommodation which doesn't get as much priority as students.

Thanks for thinking that I seem cool - I am young at heart!

I love older people. I think you guys relate to younger folk much more then you would think.

This country has it's great points but access for older and disabled people can be shocking at times. 7 years for a basic need is not good at all.

Are you a carer or disabled? Feel free to rant to me on here. Therapy via internet haha!

Wow we obviously come the same era of when the shows hey day was. I liked when the behaviour specialist would explain why one housemate was behaving that way and why the others coped better etc.

Poor Brian. He was great but they just ditched him and then the awful Rylan was introduced. Not a patch on Brand or Dermot.

I liked Ultimate Big Brother, did you? What a shame about the whole Jae Goody downfall and eventual death.

I love a interesting geek! How're you and welcome back Wunder Lust. Why that username by the way and what games are you most into?

On a series note though, maybe you should contact DS and let them know about your previous account? It save the moderators thinking you may have been banned before or even other posters using this against you in the future. I read the rules but can't remember it all.

Scots Rool, what do you think (he is a veteran around these part )

I guess Rylan appeals to the chavs, & no doubt the chavvy producers. I doubt he'd have got so lucky if CH4 still ran the programme.

Couldn't stand UBB, I found the majority of HM's over-privileged, over- indulged brats. I think UBB is a bit like marmite.

Terribly sad re Jade, I still maintain she wasn't being racist, it was a class thing, & she became the fall guy when the other 2 got off scot-free!
She lost her life far too soon.

She actually.

It's really nothing to do with me (or anyone else), the mods will ultimately make that decision.

Yeah especially the wag woman. Jo from Steps admitted her career and life had been tarnished. It came to light she had tried to kill herself (Public Relations or real... who knows.)
Jade was ignorant and like you say her upbringing likely resulted in that. However there was footage the public didn't see as the BB producers knew they'd get in trouble for not dealing with it properly.
I didn't like Shilpa much regardless of the bullying. The same goes for Jack and the Goodies, the way they treated the old guy was disgusting.

UBB had Nikki Grahame and John Mac, that alone was good enough for me. Another seriers of CBB I enjoyed was the Barrymore, Pete Burns, Chantele and co one. Fight night carried on for ages and everyone really let go of their emotions!

You should drop in HERE We chat about everything & anything there.

The mods will probably take a dim view of this thread being turned into a chat thread. It would end up being off-putting to newbies posting for the 1st time.

I'm really sorry for posting this here, I couldn't find anywhere else where it might sit ok.

I can't find anyway to contact forum support, I've tried all the links across ds and the pages are either dead or missing. Does anyone has a link to a page that works or way to find an email address?

Thanks,

Charlie

Try alerting your own post, you might get a response that way.

Have you tried any of THESE?

Can anyone help with this please

I can reply to messages (as shown by this), but when I try to start a NEW thread, the new thread page loads and I can type in the large Message box... but it won't let me type in the small Title box. It tells me I'm logged in, and I can click in the title box, see the cursor and the border changes to blue... but I cannot type anything!

Yessss I have cleared by browsing info and cookies but it makes no difference.

They certainly (didn't) test this site before rolling out did they!

Thanks

There have been several 'issues' recently as I'm sure you are aware of. I read somewhere if you 'copy & paste' the title, it works that way.
