Hey guys, long time lurker, pretty new poster although I've had this account for ages, I kept having problems logging in - until now.

I'm Luke, I'm 35 and I'm a Manc currently living in Bolton.

I like alt. music (metal, new wave, rock, industrial...), video games (older ones, mainly) a bit of scifi and the Simpsons.

I also play drums in a cover band - Fretsaw (Youtube)

Hello everyone, I'm big into film noir (fave flick The Maltese Falcon) and tech gadgets like the iPhone 5 and the HD air Drone 2.0. If I was an x-man my power would be the ability to repair most laptops....

Hello all, my first post here and I'm glad to say you're in for a treat.

I watch a lot of TV enjoying family life and controlling that glorious tv remote ,but mostly enjoy the pure joy of complaining about everything and everything on the box.

x - factor - contrived, scripted rubbish

emmerdale and coronation st - copy each others story lines every other week and the news programs are sycophants to any royal story and big up any sporting event like it's the second coming.

Factual documentaries can be good and will ferrell films are funny but modern comedians are woeful - I mean that floppy haired idiot michael macintyre - 5 mins and i puke.

I haven't read any posts from anyone yet but here's hoping there aren't too many fantasists and sanctimonious leathers because I might have to say as much.

Anyway enjoy my stuff, I do.

Don't get me started on that!

As a musician of 30 years, I have to keep a civil tongue in my head sometimes as my rants on the state of today's media are a little colourful (read: passionate).
