Hello, I'm Stan Marino - well, no I'm not obviously, that's the alias I hastily chose with a recent football match featuring Europe's favourite plucky losers fresh in my mind.
I'm a big fan of film (and books but haven't found an online forum for that), bit of a dabbler in technology, other interests include TV, politics, things that generally happen in the world, flailing with angry powerlessness at the general stupidity and bureaucracy of the world we live in, sport and suchlike... And in my spare time I write. Books, screenplays, etc. not published or commissioned yet.

Hi, I'm an older newbie (70 year's old) and not particularly computer literate. I've bought a Blackberry Playbook 64GB to me my office on the road between my Macbook, (30 mins battery life) and my Windows laptop (no battery life). Reading computer speak is like reading Chinese so I prefer to ask so:
