I like the Sunday show although it would be better live with no spoilers.

I didn't realise it wasn't live until the week Willie Thorne was eliminated on bbc one and had been commentating on the snooker on bbc 2 at the same time..... (hadn't discovered digitalspy yet.)

Although it's good to have it all in one night, having the results show on the Sunday made it more enjoyable as the show didn't seem as rushed and we saw more of the pros and past celebs than usual.

BUT they could at least stop pretending that it's actually being filmed live. Two years of listening to them go "...they were great earlier this evening, I mean last night" is enough.

im tempted to look at the spoler's haha. allthough it would ruin it for me. I was wondering in series 6 the semi fian result's were on the same night but it's strange that happened when the voting fiasco went on. was the result's planned to be on a saturday or a last minute thing

It was always meant to be then rather than the Sunday due to something else on the Sunday, I think it was the Sports Personality of the Year awards although the results show was cut short by 20 minutes due to there being no dance off.

The judges seemed to stop (or they forgot ) but still Bruce and Tess were determined to say at every availible point "Last Night..."

But if the show is being broadcast on the Sunday, then it is a case of 'last night'!

I do know what you mean, but there were other things that were being said on the Sunday show that were meant to imply the Sunday show was also being shown live which annoyed so many of us and I'm sure they stopped doing that last year.

For the life of me I can't think of an example at this moment(), but SCD is now no different than any other programme that records more than show at a time as far as I can see.

The only good thing about the Sunday show was that even without recaps, it was longer than we were likely to get on Saturday night. Some of us would miss the extra pro dances.

I really look forward to the pros dancing on the results show and my husband never fails to comment about just how good they are dancing together compared with the celebs.

Its probably my favourite section of the whole show.

They should do a whole 'Strictly Special' featuring the pros at Xmas time.

I think it sounds great too, especially if it was to replace the Christmas Special, the judges are far too nice then and give 10s to anything. I'd much more prefer an hour on Christmas Day of the pros performing to a variety of festive songs just for fun without any of the judges or scores slowing it down

I can see your point but if it was maybe just Bruce (and not Tess and the judges) it could work quite well actually. Also, Claudia, as funny and excitable she is, is better suited to ITT in my opinion.

I agree with keeping the Sunday show as it has so many benefits in terms of pro dances, backstage gossip etc. I do hope however, there is no pretending that its live and also - and I know this is out there - but scrap the dance off!
