And also where is the big announcement for the Free BT Showcase match ???

I bet it will be on the morning of the match !!!
They're already showing Roma v Barcelona on Showcase. Don't know if they're also obliged to show a Europa League match for free in the same week.

But why don't they use all their red button channels, as they do for the Champions League?
Because hardly anyone in the UK is bothered about Europa League beyond their own team, or at a push beyond the countries teams.

As it stands it seems of the CL 12, following Man Utd, Roma v Barcelona, Final, only nine other games to be played. Assume three group games to show the British clubs.

With 14 Europa League, a number of group games will be shown.
This week is Anderlecht v Monaco.

Annoying to see that even with the graphics refresh UEFA haven't fixed the positioning of the scorebar (doesn't help that it's unnecessarily huge) - there's absolutely no need for it to be that far down the screen, especially when they are happy for BT to display the CL graphics further up.

That score DOG is awful.

The transparent part is very distracting because as the scene behind it changes, it's like it's flashing.

Strange how UEFA force their EL DOG on broadcasters, but not the CL one.

Not sure if anyone's brought this up, but all 12 of the 18:00 kick-offs are available to watch via the website.

I came in here to ask that exact thing. So these graphics are all still UEFA's then. How annoying.

Yes, very strage - if anything I would have thought it'd be the other way round with the CL being the more important competition.

The least UEFA could do is to make sure the graphics look half decent and aren't distracting - they've failed on both counts.

All games working for me. A mix of world feeds and clean feeds being used.

I can only view 4 games which are the Bordeaux v Liverpool, Ajax v Celtic, Napoli v Club Brugge and Borussia Dormund v Kuban Krasnodar ties. The rest are not available on app/tablet despite BT Sport saying they are!

Strangely, the red button games are accessed via BT Sport 2 and not BT Sport Europe. This must be an error? I'm guessing the Dnipro fans are banned because they are playing in an empty stadium!

Not that keen on the new Europa League opening titles - I much preferred the jaunty, upbeat ones of previous seasons since the rebrand.

However the new captions are much more readable than in previous seasons, they were far too small under the old look. I'm not keen on them having things like substitutions being indicated from the bottom of the scorebar, which is something they've retained.

I finally worked out why l couldn't view the remaining games. I was trying to view via Chromecast with standard player. When l used the enchanted player to view on tablet, l could see the games!

This is strange because on both Champions League nights, l could see every tie played via Chromecast/standard player! I wonder why tonight was different?

This REALLY needs to be said. We want SPANISH teams who are the second biggest pull after the English teams.

Why focus on sub-standard German, French and Italian?

Athletico Bilbao and Villarreal were both playing tonight but no coverage.

BT needs to get out of this SMALL CHANNEL MENTALITY!

Especially when you consider Athletico Bilbao and Villarreal would be amongst the favourites to go far in the competition. Especially the former.

What is it with you and Spanish football??

Surely if you are that concerned you should try getting some of the Spanish channels via satellite?

As for this mentality, why do you think they should show teams because you want them to???, so because they don't you get the complete hump about it.....geeeee

Dera BT fanboy, it's only LOGICAL to be showing the Spanish teams? Look at the fixtures Judio has posted. Now they have the Champions League they should be more Spanish heavy, instead of French, German and Italian. I know they have the rights to these leagues, but they are small time compared to La Liga.

What a load of rubbish, you are obsessed with Spanish football, in particular the bigger Spanish teams, you get them week in week out on Sky ( fanboy!!) so because your needs are not satisfied you have thrown all your toys out of your pram because other teams and decent teams at that are being shown.

There was coverage. BT were broadcasting, by some means, every single game.

He was presenting sports bulletins on the BBC News Channel last week, so suspect he know works for the BBC if on the News channel it maybe full time so not available for BT.

Would he really want to be 3rd choice after Linekar and Humphreys?
