First time the main CL or EL game on BT Sport Europe doesn't feature an English side

I presume it's to ensure an English side don't get shoved behind the red button if Liverpool goes to ET

Also no six o clock game so they can have a good build up to the Man U game at 805
The Wanderer

They did it in the EL group stage too. Klopp's first game at Anfield was moved to 2 so they could have buildup from 7.30

Surely both Liverpool v Man U games will be 805 or will one have to be 1800 hours
Judio

I am sure UEFA will have an exception

Spurs will play both at 1800 then

Villarreal v Bayer Leverkusen
Athletic Bilbao v Valencia
Basel v Sevilla
Shakhtar v Anderlecht
Sparta Prague v Lazio
Fenerbahce v Braga

I do like these open draw
Maybe UEFA will open up them more regularly

Jesus, Liverpool's schedule from Sunday onwards till March looks frightening. Good thing they have Sturridge back.

Could have been worse.

They could have been home to Chelsea in between the two Man United games

Yes it's not a bad schedule at all especially with the international break at the end of month and being out the FA cup

BT Showcase do at least try and pick something of an 'appeal' it does need to draw subscribers. If they are not going to show a British side they'll not show Fenerbahce v Braga. More likely to go for something like Valencia v Bilbao - It has a GNev appeal and best of the rest ties wise. Other choice would be Basel v Sevilla

There is no way greater Manchester police will agree to police the game at that time it will be moved to 8

BT will enjoy having those ties and it means at least one English team getting to the last 8.

If GMP won't agree to police the game then UEFA will just tell Man Utd to host it behind closed doors.
