Well for those worried about the coefficient Lazio have lost tonight, meaning that ALL Italian teams are out of Europe this season.
England now have a 0.452 lead over Italy for the end of the 2016-2017 season, to decide the 2018-2019 champions league places. This can be extended by England to be even further ahead by the end of this season.
However next season we already know that England are guaranteed 3 teams in the Champions League group stages, whilst Italy are only guaranteed 2. This is important because there are 4 bonus points awarded for each team that make it through to the group stage.
So England have already got 12 bonus points in the bag for next season, whilst Italy have only got 8. This is despite the fact that the table at the moment is showing 0.000 for each country.
The bonus points are divided by the number of teams that a country has represented in both the champions league and Europa League. For England this is 7, (4 in the champions league, 3 in Europa League,) and for Italy this is 6, (3 in the champions league, 3 in Europa League.)
So England for next season already have 12/7 = 1.714 (3 decimal places.)
Italy for next season already have 8/6 = 1.333 (3 decimal places.)
That is an advantage of 0.381 to add to the advantage of 0.452 which we have already got.
Therefore the advantage is effictively 0.833 in England's favour.
