BT Sport is showing the match live and the Eng FA Cup live on the setanta pack, so setanta ire should sell these live games to tv3

I hope TV3 get massive viewing figures for the europa league final and the Eng FA Cup Final.
As Virgin Media owns TV3 and Eir owns Setanta Sport, I could see both getting live sport from RTEtv in the future

Congratulations to Sevilla who win it for the 3rd time in a row

Just found this for next season
On May 18 the UEFA Executive Committee decided that the domestic champion and the domestic cup winner of Kosovo will be admitted to the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. For this season the clubs of Kosovo will have to meet the special permission licensing criteria under article 15 of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play regulations.

Is Kosovo even a country yet ???

UEFA have recognised it in the same way they've recognised Gibraltar.

It would be good if the Cork game was being shown here in the UK on Premier Sports but Eir Sports 1 is not shown here only in Ireland...

So BT are not showing the second leg as many thought. It seems West Ham didn't want it to be shown. Is it available to members of West Ham TV online or something?

The club decided that TV Coverage would stop fans from going

The Juve game is on TV as they had already sold enough tickets before selling it to BT

Is it worth mentioning that Dundalk FC, the Irish league champions are now guaranteed a place in the Europa League group stages should they lose their Champions League playoff tie.

Great news for BT Sport (and therefore Eir Sport) in Ireland?

It actually has no effect on BT Sport in Ireland, as such.

If you mean subscription-wise for the Eir Sports Package, it won't really attract many new subscribers at all. Dundalk's average attendance = 3,000+. Subscribers in Ireland will have much more interest in the English (and Celtic?) teams.

If you mean from a broadcasting POV:-

The Europa League scenario = Eir Sports will be required to prioritise the games on their channels so, unless Eir put them on their SD only channel and BT show Dundalk on a HD channel, it'll have no real effect in terms of BT Sport.

The Champions League scenario = Dundalk will appear on terrestrial TV in Ireland so the audience on BT Sport in Ireland would be minimal.

Ah, thanks. And surprisingly, it's also live & free-to-air on Eurosport 1 Germany.
