Regarding the UEFA club competitions cycle of 2018–21, further to the decisions made in August, the full details of the access list, club coefficient and distribution were approved.

For the upcoming cycle, it was also decided to have two separate kick-off times in the UEFA Champions League, at 19.00CET (two matches) and 21.00CET (six matches), allowing fans opportunities to watch more matches.

It will also ensure that all domestic champions eliminated in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League get a second chance in the European competitions by entering a dedicated champions' path in UEFA Europa League qualification.

The club coefficient used for seeding purposes will be calculated using results of the past five years to reflect the current strength of teams and will not contain bonus points for previous titles.

But for giving the MONEY OUT

Meanwhile, the club coefficient used for financial distribution purposes will cover the last ten years and will include bonus points for previous titles to reflect the longer-term contribution of clubs to the competition brand and success. Bonus points for trophies won will be allocated as follows:

UCL
Last 5 years 12
As of 1992/93 8
Before 1992/93 4

UEL
Last 5 years 3
As of 1992/93 2
Before 1992/93 1

CWC
Last 5 years
As of 1992/93 2
Before 1992/93 1

Interesting, thanks.

Two Champions League matches at 6pm UK time and six at 8pm UK time. Bit of a break from tradition. I would expect some of those earlier slots to be reserved for Eastern Europe / Russia in the winter months?

Finally, UEFA will be relieved to have got this through the governance structure. They can now get the TV rights tender documentation out after Christmas as planned.

Villarreal v Roma
Ludogorets v FC Copenhagen
Celta Vigo v Shakhtar Donetsk

And if Man Utd get past St Etienne, they'll play the winners of the Supergrass vs Echobelly tie.

Confirmed. http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague...d=2430829.html
All first legs on 16 February

All second legs on 23 February except St-Étienne v Manchester United and Fenerbahçe v Krasnodar on 22 February.
Good news for United unless BT show the the prior weekend's game (FA Cup 5th round if still in it) and switch it to Sunday or Monday if they can!

It would have to be Sunday as the 1st leg is on the previous Thursday, won't be Monday if they're then playing Wednesday.

Good point. It will be BT Sport incidentally if we are still in the FA Cup 5th Round, so hopefully a home tie against some tiddlers! Good place to have to travel to, it could have been much much worse.

But what happens if Manchester United are drawn against Manchester City in the 5th round (after Manchester United have been drawn against either Liverpool or Chelsea in the 4th round.)

And when I say what happens, I mean on this forum!
