And I know it's a Champions League qualifier, but New Saints vs Videoton is on S4C on Tuesday, starting at 6.45pm.

Maybe they should also pick up the 2nd leg of Red Imps v Midtjylland (CL qualifier). The British team have only lost 1-0 away, I can already smell the huge upset.

If I was Red Imps' president, I'd be looking for some decent English Football League players, handing them contracts for 6 weeks, with an option for extension if the club reaches the CL or EL group stages.

Had hoped that Premier/Setanta might show the Dundalk tie against BATE this evening as it is being televised over there

Surely from a strictly football point of view Red Imp's are Gilbratese?? Interesting idea though behind offering Football League players out of contract a chance to play themselves into a club back in England with some good performances in a UEFA competition

Great stuff. Is English commentary too much to ask?

Because Celtic refused to sell the rights in order to fill the stadium. As usual in their qualifying campaigns.

Yes, Vitesse has the highest coefficient of all unseeded clubs.

And both Southampton and West Ham could be unseeded in the play-off round, with the risk of facing Dortmund, Bilbao, or Bordeaux.

These clubs will need to try and do their bit for the English co-efficient this season

At least Koeman should know alot about the Dutch Opposition

At the moment it looks like Southampton are almost guaranteed seeding in Last Round

West Ham need only one big club to lose

That list could change if seeded clubs drop down from the CL qualifiers.

I hate the fact that you lose in CL and still stay in Europe by having a second chance in Europa League

The Champions League group stage is congested with non-champions, so it's only fair for champions to get a second chance.

Far from it as they're far from guaranteed of getting into the Last Round

The Europa League is always a weird one though anyway, by definition by being in it you haven't beaten lots of teams (otherwise you'd have been in the UCL). I get the point, and it does seem pretty random, but not much more random than having a tournament for clubs finishing 5 - 7 in major leagues and winning cups.
