Hey all, I was wondering if you could help me out here with your opinions on some of these phones...

Firstly, I think BT contract phones are good value and they suit my needs... I'm still thinking about it, but I was wondering which one of these phones would you get and why...

Samsung A600
Sony Ericsson T610
Nokia 7250i
Sendo M550
Nokia 3510i
Motorola E365
Siemens MC60
Nokia 3100

All of which are free, btw...

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

T610 is the best phone out of the ones you listed the others are quite old now and the features available on the T610 are great it even has the abillity to put Karaoke songs on and the words change colour when you need to sing,

Cheers for your help, Mick.

I was thinking the T610, too, but I thought I'd ask you guys before I went out and signed up to anything...

...which brings me on to my next and final question: does anyone know of a good contract deal right now? I'm looking around but some of you guys here know how to sniff out a great bargain.

Once again, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I may be able to help with that but need to know what your usage will be.
1) How Many Text Messages will you send per month
2) How many Pic Messages will you send per month
3) How many minutes of calls will you make per month
4) How much will you use your message service.

?????

Nice one!

1) About 100/200 a month... although to be honest, 50 would do me too... they aren't that important.

2) Not many at all... about five?

3) 200/250ish...

4) Message service? I don't know to be honest...

To be a little more clear, I'm looking at between £20-£30 a month... I've had my eye on the Sony Ericsson Z600... really good phone, but I need a bit of help when it comes to getting a good deal.

So if you know of any good contract offers, tell me!!!

I will call him now and say you may call.

No offence mate, but I want to ask a few questions before I call... like, what phones does he have? What prices? I mean, has he got a list or a website or something? Hope you can understand why I'd be a little wary...

He has been in the business for 15 or 16 years and is a partner in a small independent mobile phone consultancy he can do all networks and all handsets, price will depend on the tariff you go on, so the higher the monthly charges the cheaper the handset and so on, if you are worried about just having a mobile number then you can call him on the office number which I will give you if you are interested.

I can understand you being unsure but the whole idea of this web site is helping people.
