River City
So does anyone else watch this and think that it is not actually that bad? Not a total true reflection on life in Glasgow but still better than some drivel that has been shown.

River city will never be shown on the bbc1 network, cos it is a Scottish soap and will not appeal south of newcastle!
The best you can hope for is a daytime repeat, when most peeps are not watching

I lived in London for more than 10 years and I know that the "Daily Record" mentality always overplays this antipathy. G |

The acting in River City to start with was not the best but it hsa got better in recent months.
It must have caught someone at the BBC's eye as one of the originaly writers has written a few episodes for Eastenders! Rob x |

After hearing a lot of negative comments about River City I wasn't really sure what to expect but decided to give it a try.
It turned out to be better than people had described and several months later I still watch it whenever I can or use the weekend omnibus edition to catch up. |
