Passion fruit
I've bought some passion fruit, but the skin is smooth, the use by date is Wednesday, but I was under the impression that they were ripe when the skin went wrinkled? I know I used to buy them with wrinkled skin...
Any ideas? |

You're right, they are ripe when they go wrinkly. It's getting a bit daft when use by dates are put on fruit. Just let them ripen naturally, they'll be fine.
If you want to speed the process up put them in a paper bag with a couple of ripe bananas. |
