New O2 Online Talkaklot Sim
Ive just recieved my new O2 Online Talkalot sim card today. Im currently on O2 Pay as you go Original tarrif.
Im wanting to know if i can transfer my current number to my new sim card. And also i have money on my current sim card so will this be transfered to my new sim? Is this possible? Or has anyone ever done this before? And also if i buy a sharp gx 20 on vodafone pay as you go then can i unlock the phone to use my new O2 Online Talkalot sim card? Thanks for any help anyone can offer |

Yes, but you'll need a PAC code from O2 to give to O2 online - strange huh!Quote:

I believe the answer is no.Quote:

I'm fairly sure it can be unlocked, but I can't give you a definite answer I'm afraid.

why do you want to transfer your old number and credit to the new sim?
if you want to change the tarrif, call 2425 and listen to the options (i cant remember them off the top of my head) and yes you should be able to unlock the new phone, although some phones require specialist boxes to do this. You should do some research on how to unlock the phone before you buy it. i could be that you need to buy a £10 cable and software to do it or it could be even easier.. you could have to ender a code on the handset's keypad, it depends. Hope this helps Dinger

you can keep ur existing sim and switch to o2 online. look at this page:
http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI-...Case=obj(5643) this is a bit that copied out from their site: 2. I wish to transfer my number using my existing O2 Pay & Go sim card If you have not purchased a new O2 Online Pay & Go SIM card and wish to transfer your mobile number with your existing O2 sim card then click the 'contact us' option below and we can action your request. Please ensure there is a minimum of £10 credit on your SIM card to cover the administration costs of the transfer. |
