I knew about Childs Play months ago, but it's not a sequel to the series, it's a re-make of the original with a cgi Chucky this time.

I agree with you on that. there haven't been many Disney sequel's I have enjoyed. Aladdin : The Return of Jafar was wierd with the Genie not being voiced by Robin Williams.

I did however enjoy 102 Dalmatians, Glenn Close as Cruella in both films was brilliant!

The idea of Hairspray 2 does sound strange......

LOL i just learnt bout this now! i loved it as a kid and never noticed the voice change it ruined it for me now.

Wanted had to be one of the biggest let-downs in recent times.
(Enchanted was ok though... )
Angelina jolie pulled out leaving Wanted 2 to be scrapped.

Damn. The last two films are old! Why create a third one now?

Not half as excited as Steve Guttenberg, I'll bet.

I wonder if there will be a Prince of Persia sequel? there seems to be alot of good whispers about the film, and the games give the franchise a few good stories to build apon. I reckon Disney might make it into a franchise if it is successful at the box office.

I still think ghostbusters and american pie are possibly 2 that may drag before they finally get approved and be blessed with the Indiana Jones syndrome, though I certainly hope not

Judge Dredd.

It was announced yesterday.

http://www.businessofcinema.com/news.php?newsid=16172

Not a remake as such but a new 'hoperfully better' back to basics version staying true to the original character which appears in 2000AD comic. It starts filming at the end of the year for a 2012 release. No word as yet on who plays the tough lawman of the future.

If people don't know much about the character, it's more or less Dirty Harry set in a Blade Runner type world. A fascist cop upholding a totalitarian regime of the future. But there's lots of black comedy thrown in too.

The original Dredd film from 1995 was a mess - Stallone saying "I am the lawwwhhhhhrrrr!" one of many crappy moments in the film - and it didn't really capture the essence of the character. The new film should be much closer to the source material (I hope)!

If done right Dredd has the potential to rival any American superhero type character although the budget is comparatively small at $45 million. If you love sci-fi films, this is one film to look out for as it could be rather good.

Because they had to wait for the little lady to be old enough to be a bride

I agree

yup all 3 men are confirmed, its a shame the girl who played the little girl quit acting otherwise it would be all the original cast

Don't see why he can't just re-cast! It's too far away and I can't wait that long!

You have sweetheart! Go watch em! Preferably on Blu-Ray (if you have a Blu-Ray player that is).

Mike Myers is writing Austin Powers 4, but it's gunna be the first of a trilogy from the Dr. Evil side of things.

Would just prefer an Austin Powers 4 with Austin Still as the main character myself.
