Nelly Furtado's Spanish Album
What do you make of Nelly's decision to release an all- Spanish album? With 'Loose' being such a success it seems a shame in a way that she couldn't have followed it up with something in a similar vein with a big Timbaland beat running through it.
Having said that she's never traditionally done what's expected of her and so I guess a total change of direction was inevitable .. she has also hinted at the fact that she may do an album in hindi in the future so who knows. DS has just put up the video for her first single 'Manos El Aire' .. what do you think? I quite like it and it's good that they've put subtitles up for the less lingual amongst us. .. The guy looks like the same guy that was in Nelly's 'Try' video. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a1...direction.html |

I've listened to two of the tracks, "Más" and "Manos al aire", out of the two I prefer "Más", but IMO they're both not smash hits.

Or do you think that they wouldn't be hits even in Spanish speaking countries?. |

Are they supposed to be then .. like here in the UK? I would doubt they'd even get airplay .. like when she released 'No Hay Igual' .. the clubs here loved it but it didn't get airplay and I think was only successful in the Spanish speaking countries.
