I used to like watching the sunday repeat show in the beginning, a pro dance show would be good, mixed in with behind-the-scenes footage. Alesha could front it instead of judge. I'm determned to find something else for her to do!
I never watched the Sunday shows - just recorded them and flipped through to the result - just to see the reactions as I already knew from the spoiler thread who was out.
I'm delighted they're going back to a real (rather than pretend) live results announcement - however they work it out. Getting rid of the silly dance off would gain some time, as would drastically cutting the backstage footage. All good news as far as I'm concerned. The once or twice I did sit through the results show it seemed to be largely taken up with recaps on what happened the night before - so there's another obvious time saver.
Now if they could just go back to letting the viewers really have 50% of the vote (i.e. by not giving the judges the final decision between the bottom 2) and reverse the Alesha decision, I'd be a really happy bunny. But then, can't have everything I suppose. One step at a time.

Really disappointed about this piece of news, I really enjoyed having the results show to look forward to on Sundays.
My worry is that we won't get to see very many pro dances, those are my favourite bits.

I'm kinda gutted by this,...I really liked the Sunday show and it kinda eased me into my Monday.
I understand costs need cutting though and it was kind of ridiculous to have SCD on every night of the week.
