Channel 4 catch up.

A couple of weeks ago there was a documentary on More 4,(One of the 4's anyway...) about a large surfing family.
I couldn't watch it on the night,but felt sure I could watch it on the catch up player somehow.
I went to the home page,typed surfing in the search box and the programme details came up,but there was no way to re-play it.
I contacted customer services and asked where it was.
They replied with 'We don't re-play everything'.
I looked again on the page I found about the programme and there were a lot of comments at the bottom from people who had tried to access this programme on the catch up and couldn't.So I wasn't the only one it seems...
I made a point to Channel 4 catch up that they really should advise people before certain programmes go out,that there is 'no catch up for this programme',something like that.Then at least we could record them...
I use catch ups quite a lot.My favourite is the BBC I player.Which I find easy to navigate.
2nd comes ITV catch up,3rd is Channel 5,and trailing in last place comes the 4 catch up service.I find it awful to navigate and uninspiring.
Someone needs to take a good look at this catch up service cos it sucks.I know they have recently made it 'free',but it is still a badly designed player.

Anyone agree?
