What soft drink should pubs sell that you would happily drink instead of alcohol?

When I go out, if I'm driving, I drink cola or cola and lime, but as too much of that is horrid, I also drink the occasional shandy to make it bearable.

It occurred to me that if pubs sold ginger beer on tap they way they do cola and lemonade, I would never bother drinking alcohol again.

Bring draught ginger beer into pubs, please!

What soft drink would you like to see on tap in your favourite pub or club?

No matter what soft drinks they sold.... it would NOT convince me not to drink alcohol on a night out!

Usually I would save my money rather than pay out exorbitant prices for crappy coke & lemonade.

If we are staying in a pub for a while I may get a non-alco Kopparberg.

Any of the Energy drinks, like Red Bull or V, but no doubt will be expensive...

I don't drink alcohol, so the more soft drinks the better.

But what would you like to see that they don't already sell?

My point is that all pubs sell crappy coke and lemonade and I'm sick of it. I love ginger beer and I want to see pubs selling it on draft just like they do coke or lemonade, but you just don't see it anywhere.

Our local whetherspoons have Ginger Beer/Ale in bottles behind the bar for cocktails/mixers but you have to ask specially if you want a glass.

I would like to see Ginger Beer and Dr Pepper on draft. It would be great for cocktails aswell

I know two pubs that sell Red Bull on Draft.

I can't go out and not drink, I'd rather just not go out, nothing worse than drinking soft drinks but being able to smell alcohol as everyone else is getting drunk!

Those yummy soft drinks that San Pellegrino make, Limonata and Aranciata. They are SO delicious but you can only buy them in Waitrose and some coffee shops plus Strada - amazing stuff.

Draft stuff is vile. They are better off selling it in cans/bottles as most do. It was my gran's favourite drink in a pub and we never had trouble finding it.

Most pubs have a good selection of alcohol free drinks such as J20, Britvic 55, Appletsier etc. I don't drink and never struggle for anything to drink.

Alcohol is the only thing I'll drink for the sake of drinking rather than because I'm thirsty.

Same, plus water!!

I do like bitter lemon, ginger ale, orangina, lime and soda and occasionally Dr. Pepper just as tastes though - so I guess if I drove I'd maybe drink a mix of those.

Almost every pub in Glasgow and a hellva lot of pubs in Scotland sell Diet IRN-BRU.

Ask them to stock it in the pubs you frequent.
No harm in trying.
If their attitude sucks, you know where the door is.
Pubs can't afford to turn custom away these days.

When I used to drink regularly in pubs (many, many years ago) I always used to wish they sold milk, especially if I was feeling a bit the worse for wear!

I don't go in pubs now anyway, so don't know what they sell and what they don't.
