Hi - anyone got any experience or knowledge of Nokia's Premicell equiment - TFK-7 to be exact.

Its a wall mounted gsm system that acts as a mobile phone but allows the use of a standard home / office phone to pick up or make calls instead.

Thats all I have found out on the system.... Anyone help? Otherwise its going on Ebay LOL!!!!!

Thanks in advance Wardster II

Hi Wardster

Below is the info that Vodafone have on it via the internal intranet .......

Nokia PremiCell
A Fixed Wireless Terminal, into which any Sim Card may be inserted (be it UK or foreign). PremiCell replaces the use of a landline, and all calls are billed directly back to the Sim card that has been inserted.

PremiCell comes with its own battery, however it can also be powered by being plugged directly into the mains.

The PremiCell can be used for the following purposes:

Attach it to your normal fax or fax / telephone.

Attach it to your PC (An RS232 cable would be required to connect PC to PremiCell).

Attach it to your Laptop (RS232 cable needed and a version of Nokia Data Suite which is compatible with the PremiCell would need to be installed on Laptop).

Plug your normal home telephone into the appropriate port on the PremiCell to make voice calls.

For more information see: www.nokia.co.uk or refer to manufacturer (see contact information)

Hope this info helps !!!
