It's just been on radio 2 news that Arlene has been offered a job by the government to encourage people to exercise. Jeremy Vine said if anyone can do it, Arlene can.

This is nothing unusual - or new - quite a few of dance pros already "work for the government" by being involved in various schemes that are aimed at getting people fitter by encouraging them to take more exercise. A lot of schools now have dance classes as part of their curriculum, with various pros visiting on regular basis.

I agree with Jeremy Vine, Arlene would be perfect - not everyone wants to learn ballroom dance, but many would get tremendous fun with stage dance.

I'm kinda hopeful that this is the pre-cursor to Arlene's next job...I don't know what the title is but Jay Hunt is doing it at the moment
