Any ideas what could be wrong with it? I can get the sound but there is no picture on it. Many thanks

Loose scart connection, perhaps, or scart lead connected to wrong slot?

It's pointless asking such a question without giving us a bit more info.

we need to know a bit more than there is no picture.

what are you trying to view? is it on a set top box? in which case it might be a scart connection problem.

Are you trying to watch terrestrial? analogue? built in freeview?

maybe the colour is righ to the bottom?
maybe the tube has gone? or the backlight if its a LCD?

It wouldn't be a V7 LTV30C would it. If so, it's a known fault and it will be replaced if under 6 years old (a UK law applies). Mine was, no insurance & 3 yrs old.

That was exactly my thought on seeing the thread title!

It reminded me of a line I remember from "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again" (many years ago): "We think radio is basically jolly good, but it would be a lot better if it had a little screen and pictures".

Apologies to the OP for going off-topic.
