Actually, thinking on past seasons, it cant be against the rules...

Im thinking specifically of the six-finger plan.. Everyone except for Jase and Cowboy knew that Diane and Marvin were going up as pawns.. And think of all the times when housemates have discussed looking for pawns etc. Lydia is just being desperate.

I really don't get why Michele would want to evict Chima?

I hope not That would be a god-awful move for Michele.
Why do you think that?

I think it is smart. Chima has become the new leader of the 'NBK' and no matter how much they say that Michele is safe, she will never be as safe with them as she is with Jeff and Jordan and at this stage, yes, even Russell.

Plus keeping Russell will also keep a big target in the house and Russell is probably one of the only people Michele could beat in the Final 2.

A Michele, Russell, Jeff and Jordan Final 4 is good for her because Michele and Russell would take each other to the Final 2 and they are both great at comps.

Natalie, Lydia and Kevin are useless at comps, so with Chima gone, things are in Michele's favour.

Because if she's in alliance with J/J/R she's obviously target nr 1.

I think it's that you're not supposed to tell your nominees officially before the ceremony, probably for dramatic reasons.
It's a tiny bylaw from a reason season. Someone (Jessie?) mentioned this a few weeks ago too.

Nor me? Perhaps she's thinking that evicting Chima will see the opposite alliance collapse, because I doubt Kevin and Lydia would stick around with Natalie..

I suppose, by keeping Russell, the next HoH would get rid of him...unless it was J/J or Russell himself, in which case she is safe....but if Chima was HoH she would be safe, Natalie or Lydia should go first

But Chima is the new leader, she is smart, and she is quite good at comps.

Natalie and Lydia are useless both in strategy and in comps. They aren't an immediate threat.

Michele can't compete in HoH next week, so she needs Jeff, Jordan and Russell to play for her and it is highly likely that they are going to win and they will keep her safe.

I think its a bad move for Michele, because even though Chima is the leader of the new alliance, she will go for Russell and J/J before she goes for Michele. Chima hates Russell and Jeff, so if they do the dirty work of getting rid of her, Michele will be sitting pretty with Chima off in the jury house, venting her hatred for Jeff and Russell to whoever can hear her, whilst remaining positive to Michele. I think Chima could prove to be very influential when she inevitably winds up in the jury house.

I dont think that Michele should side with Chima all game. I think she should just leave the dirty work of getting rid of her to Russell or J/J, and reap the benefits of Chima's influence in the jury house.

But the thing is, Natalie and Lydia suck at competitions. They're not threats, even if they were directly coming after Michele. Chima won't go after Michele but she could take Jeff out, her allie. The only other person who has proven themselves in competitions on the other side of the house is Kevin, but Michele has told him he's safe with her so if he wins next week, she should be fine too.

Chima is glue holding Natalie and Lydia together as well, she's leader of this feminist alliance.

Michele telling that Chima said she should keep Chima around to kick Russell out and Natalie to kick Jeff out.

Jeff: How about I dropkick both of them out?

I think by putting up Chima and Natalie, she makes solid allies in Jeff, Jordan and Russell who as I said, are much more likely to be winning comps so can keep her safe.

And with Chima gone, I still don't think that Natalie, Lydia or Kevin would target Michele even if they did happen to suddenly pull out a HoH win. They'd try to break up the pair (Jeff/Jordan) or go for the "big dog" Russell.

I can see your angle too, but either way I think Michele is smart and has positioned herself very well.

The only bad thing is that they'll be bitter at Michele in the jury should Michele get to the final. But Michele obviously intends to be sat next to Jordan/Jeff/Russell at the final, and she can beat any of them.

I like that Michele can put her emotions about Russell aside and play strategically though. Very few people can do that, if I was her I'd probably go after Russell this week as well. That's why I think she deserves to win, she plays the game as it should be played, she's good at it, and she doesn't make personal attacks on others.

That's the one bit im concerned about.. I think if Michele doesnt put up Chima, she risks loosing her alliances trust before she even really gains it.

The thing is, even if Michele evicts Natalie next week and Chima ends up competing for HoH, there's still a 3-1 chance that R/J/J win..

The more I think about it, Michele might be smart to target Lydia this week. Going for Natalie is going to be a hard sell to Jeff and Russell, because Natalie is nothing without Jessie.. I suppose it might be easier to sell Lydia leaving using the excuse of "breaking up Lydia and Kevin"

I think Michele is a smart cookie though and will make the right choice.
